Stop adding toall pages

I'm using the Optin Form Adder. Can I stop it adding the form to just some pages, on a page-by-page basis?

  • Hi Ben,

You can place the optin-form in your selected page or post by following the steps below.

-Go to Optin Form Placement on the OPtin Form Adder settings toolbar.
    -Click on Template/Post Tag option
-Copy <!--OptinFormAdder--> (for without tracking) or <!--OptinFormAdder:tracking_code--> (for with tracking ) and paste this to the post or page content editor in html mode and update.
-which makes only that post or page contain the optin-form.

    Thanks

Thank you, I have two more questions...

1)Do I need to substitute tracking_code for anything (like Google Analytics code), or just leave the tag as is?

    2) If I do this, and upgrade to Subscriber Magnet later, will the same code work or will have I have to go through ALL blog posts changing the code?

    Thanks

  • Hi Ben,

-You can have your won keyword for example "sidebar","footer" etc to replace the "tracking_code" this keyword is just to track how many subscribers are signed up with the optin form that you have placed with your own tracking code.

    - Also Subscriber Magnet and the Optin Form Adders are two Different independent plugins. So same code will not work if you upgrade to Subscriber Magnet but you will have more features and more easy way to add tracking code in Subscriber magnet.

    Thanks
