Using MBA 1.3.6 on one blog and 1.4 on another and I am attempting to add additional Max Banner Ads as sidebar widgets. I was able to successfully create the banner zone and ad. and the first 5 apeared on my widgets page and I was able to place them on my sidebar. I am still able to create the zone and banner on the max banner page but they are no longer appearing on my widgets page. I also noticed that depending on the zone name thay may not appear. please help.
update: installed 1.4 on amy second blog and can create zones banneres and place them in my sidebar on the widget page but they do not appear on the actual live site.

1Hi Guys,
We apologize for the issue caused by this.
Please apply the below fix to resolve the issue.
- Download the fixed version of MBA from
http://www.maxblogpress.com/plugins/mba/
- Overwrite all the old files
- Browse the wp_options table of your wordpress database
- Deleted the row with the option name "mban_activate"
- Then try activating the plugin again.
It must work.
Thanks

You should select the zone position as "sidebar widget" then only it will appear in the sidebar.
Also the banner position doesn't depend on the zone name but on the zone position. -

Actually since I uninstalled and re-installed MBA 1.4 I have been able to create widget zones, add a banner in those zones. The created widgets appear as available on my widgets page and can be placed on my sidebar2 and saved. But the banners do not show on the live pages, nothiing no place holder no text...

If the banner doesn't appear in your sidebar then better check the permission of the max-banner-ads folder inside the wp-content folder. Also do not forgot to untick the disable checkbox.

im unable to see sidebar ads as well although other ones seemed to be ok?.. any solution to this?

I have the same problem as navignahc. I can see the ads in every place, but when I put Sidebar Widget option, I can't see it. I put the MBAN Siderbar Widget in my sidebar but it doesn't work.
Any solution?
Thanks!! -

Just added MBAN to two different sites each with a different theme. Tried uploading the banner form computer and also uploaded to WP media folder and used the URL to the image. Added the widget to the sidebar and I see nothing on the live page on either site.

Having the same issue... noticed when I use "inspect elements" in chrome to reveal code, the other widgets I'm using appear under div id='sidebar' tag but there's no sign of the MBAN widget.

I have the same problem also, maybe someone wants to look into this rather than letting the problem just carry on?

Having the same issue - help would be appreciated...Anyone still answering the question?
You mentioned checking the permissions on the folder - I'll check that and then report back here, but this is not exactly user-friendly if you have to mess with FTP files and permission settings. -

Permissions are set to 755. I'm an affiliate for MaxBlogPress as well - would love to have the banner on the sidebar, it would help clean up the look of things.
Any help would be great, guys. -

I have no idea what "Browse the wp_options table of your wordpress database" means or how to do that. Can you please be more specific about this so I can get on with this project?
Thank you. -

I finally found out about the wp_options table and deleted the line called "mban_activate" then re-registered the plugin through WordPress. This time it did not ask me to confirm my email address but took me right to the page where I can create the banners.
My banner is still there, but it is still not showing in my sidebar.
Please tell me what else to do.-
Please create a support ticket in our support center. We will have a look at the issue.
