Hi,
We've been advised by hostgator that "impression.php?" is causing high CPU usage which may result in account suspension by hostgator. To remediate the issue we have installed WP Super Cache plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/w...) and so far the ads are loaded without any issue.
However, if you kindly review this site report http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/NEhto... you'll see that "jd.gallery.css.php, jd.gallery.js.php, impression.php?ids=4 & impression.php?ids=8" takes a lot of time to load which is eventually affecting my site performance and total load time. Is there a way to cache these files via WP Super Cache Settings.
I can understand this might be configuration item with cache plugin which is external to your plugin and your help / any pointers would greatly help! I would love to continue using the plugin.
Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Mohammed.

Hi,
I tried to cache /wp-content/plugins/max-banner-ads/max-banner-ads-lib/include/impression.php via wp super cache plugin but it has no affect. I guess this has to do with MBA plugin itself, may be MBA plugin code optimization?
You can see recent load time result review on http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/n5YdA...
How can we increase page load time with MBA on wordpress. Even hostgator has advised us that this is causing high cpu load.
Help!
Thanks for reading,
Mohammed. -

Hi Mohommed,
I found that the Max Banner Ads plugin is compatible with the wordpress catch plugins such as Wp Super catch.
All you have to do is that
- enable php catching mode.
- You should add the file path to Directly Cached Files list (in advanced Settings) for example put /impression.php/ or /max-banner-ads/ etc.
Please follow this instruction and respond us.

Hi Bhuwan,
Thanks for the update.
We are using mod_rewrite to serve cache files as recommended by our hosting vendor hostgator.com.
Is it possible to cache using the mod_rewrite option in WP Super Cache Settings?
Please advise. -

Hi Mohommed,
You can use mod_rewrite option in WP Super Cache Settings for more faster operation.
But i refer you to use php catching mode if you are the new user.
Also do not forget to add the file path to Directly Cached Files list (in advanced Settings).

Hi Mohommed
I have exactly the same problem, high resources usage on hostgator. What file path exactly should I be adding to Directly Cashed Files?
Thanks

Hi Bobinoz,
Please check the advance option of your cache plugin where you'll find the instruction to add the file path such as;
file name like /impression.php/ or
plugin folder name like /max-banner-ads/. -

Hi
So I entered /max-banner-ads/ and added it as a directly cached file. Got an array function error line 1304 warning appear. Tested the page load time, MBA still very slow.
Is there any other way of speeding up the performance of Max Banner Ads, it is using high resources and making many requests on my website. I have WP super cache setup and I have selected the PHP method from the options. I have also installed WP widget cache and set it to 90,000 seconds. Still very slow though. Any help?
Thanks

Hi Bobinoz,
Could you please verify if it's really MBA that's causing high page load time?
We did tested it on our blog and it seems to be creating no such problem.
If you still find some faults, do create the support ticket through our support system;

Our technicians will manually help you through there.

Hi Marharjan
Okay, I will send in a support ticket, my tests definitely show that Max banner ads is consistently slowing up my first bite time with a series of slow impression.php files.
thanks
